I think that Tiger Lillies are equal opportunity offenders - kinda like South Park. They don't pull punches, they aren't afraid of making light of any subject, as if daring their audience to be offended; yet they do it in such an over-the-top manner that you can't help but laugh. I don't think Tiger Lillies are transphobic, or any-other-human-phenomena phobic, but rather comfortable enough in themselves and the taboos of humanity to make utterly inapropriate fun of any subject. :)

Yeah, as a trans ally, it is something I often think about the song. Though I can't imagine that the Tiger Lillies are transphobic given their outlook. I think their intention, as with the rest of the album, is to be as bawdy as possible. And I suppose it's possible to interpret Auntie Mabel's adopted female identity merely as a ruse to get bumsex rather than being actually trans.
