They could have had a pretty good song with this one if they had given it a real bass line. Listen to what it has instead... flat, one-dimensional bass. And I don't just mean the sound engineering of the bass, but the fact that it plays one-note rhythm lines and not much else. In fact it sounds like there may actually be no bass guitar at all and only a keyboard line. The song does have some great vocal harmonies, and I was into it in spite of its being obviously picked straight out of the pop hooks dustbin, but the awful bass end just ruins it.
