The theme of this entire album is genius, and this song features it especially... It's such a brilliant representation of the mindset behind the typical god-fearing, "Soldier of Christ" mentality, and how readily it can turn from an honorable life-long goal of righteousness to a conquest of hatred and violence. That's what I love most about this band... that no matter how simple and repetitive their music appears at first glance, there's almost always a subtle, underlying meaning that cuts right to the core of whatever it is they're addressing. Fucking amazing.
