The Temper Trap which is an Australian indie rockband from Melbourne, Australia; whose members consists of Dougy Mandagi (vocals), Jonathon Aherne (bass guitar), Toby Dundas (drums), Lorenzo Sillitto (lead guitar) and Joseph Greer (keyboards/guitar) created this song that's simply titled "Trembling Hands" on the 9th of May 2012, to add to their album (known as The Temper Trap) and since then, the song has appeared in the commercials for the Australian comedy/drama show: Offspring (created by Debra Oswald along with John Edwards and Imogen Banks).

Although the song hasn't topped the charts internationally, it has topped the charts in band's home country; Australia, reaching 38 (original unknown) on the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) where it currently remains as one of Australia most famous songs of 2012.
