Charted at #98 on Billboard Hot 100 in February 1959. Besides the 1958 #1 hit, "To Know Him is to Love Him", this was the only other single to chart for Phil Spector's first group (Phil is pictured on the right in the photo). The B-side, "Oh Why" also charted, at #91, and is even better in my opinion. Lead singer is Annette Kleinbard. Written by Phil Spector.

Annette Kleinbard went on to have a very successful career. She went solo and cut some records as Carol Connors...had some local success in Los Angeles. She and her sister joined singer/composer Steve Barri and had a hit record, "When Two People" as the Storytellers. Carol went on to be a top composer for films, among others, she wrote "The Theme From Rocky" ( Gonna Fly Now)....and the major hit of "With You I'm Born Again"

@Crockerish The b-side "Oh Why" is my favorite one of their records. It's on my "The Lime Popsicle" channel.

Sounds pretty good! I don't recall this song, but if it only got to #98, no big surprise, as most radio stations played only the top 30 or 40.
