This song was used in the White Ribbon campaign, men against domestic violence toward women. Proceeds went toward the cause and The Tea Party supported it through this song. The original inspiration behind the writing was after Jeff Martin watched a program about the state of women's rights, particularly in areas of the world that condone and support abuse toward women. He said this song was written as an apology to women. Cheers.
