BIGFAIR.............I know that it absolutely KILLS you to watch the legendary SUPREMES doing what made them the most successful American vocal group in history. It also KILLS you when the group is so obviously cohesive where Diane is part of a larger WHOLE. You just can't stand it, can you? How about when Mary looks better than Diane like on this video? Boy, I'll bet that really gets you, doesn't it? Behold the legendary SUPREMES, BIGFAIR, and eat your heart out!

One thing that makes this video so special is that the camera man showed all three of the ladies of THE SUPREMES. So often, the camera crew was instructed by Berry Gordy to show only Diane or the entire group (never Mary, Flo, or Cindy separately or without Diane in the frame as well). This is so much better and so many of the old clips would have been improved if they were filmed in this fashion.

From 1967 to 1969 Diana's voice was distinctly different. Sounded a little bit rounder and lower pitched.

after 1971 they should of cut there losses, I think Berry wanted to do that but Mary insisted that they could still go on and they would be trying to go on for another 5 years and Mary dragged it out untill it could't go on any more, she she doesn't know when to let stuff go thats Marys problem.

Anyway when Linda and Sherrie came in the world was so over with the supremes, Sad to say there are people who really never liked Cindy and I really liked Cindy myself, letting alone these two who were just there to be there. If you dont believe me ask any normal person about the supremes in the 70s and after Jean left they really couldn't tell you much about them because they were really not popular any more! I would say after 1971 it was all down hill for the supremes,lets be real.

In spite of all the recorded music, seeing Diana Ross sing those songs live is amazing. What's amazing is that she actually sounds like that. So natural. Not forced. Not fake. Unique! Her sound has been brutally criticized but it's so appealing to me. People who negatively imitate her have to contort themselves to get that head filled sound she has. "That high pitched voice of hers" is wonderful. I love it!!!!

Yeah, Flo was WONDERFUL, I like Mary and Cindy too, but they were the only line-up that really worked

I agree; the Supremes were the Supremes only when Flo was singing with them. Mary Wilson was the glue that held this group together through all of the changes. I will always think of the Supremes only with Florence Ballard.
