This is a clip from a concert shown on German TV in 1998.

Even after all he has gone through, Peter Green still has magic in his fingers.

The piece was written by Peter and first recorded while with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in the sixties. The original recording of this groundbreaking instrumental can be found on the album "A Hard Road".

If you're new to Peter Green, and you like what you hear on this track, I suggest you listen to all of his work with the band Fleetwood Mac, which he founded in 1967 and stayed with until 1970. During this period they played some of the best British blues and blues rock ever recorded.

But Peter Green is not only a unique guitarist and an accomplished songwriter (with songs such as "Black Magic Woman" to his credit), in those days he was also an outstanding vocalist - just listen to tracks like "Stop Messin' Round" or, in an entirely different vein, "Man Of The World".

We all have our lives....live on...get older...younger.....but the independent factor is to enjoy it with a vision and perception of the past and future and its awareness...and the fact Peter Green is still with us.....playing as tastefully or sweeter than before.....I SEE some negative comments below which it is just a symptom of close-minded and not too much experience people in life......this no different from Hey Joe Hendrix and the slow version of Buchannam...a master piece....here the opposite..Carlos Santana made it a know Master Piece............ but the musical genius is Peter Green.....here this youuibe clip is a Father Master piece whose Carlos Santana's piece was born from........!!!....

Was it a Les Paul that helped with the sustain so long ago and made "Supernatural" such a special tune? This is wonderful to see/hear but not the same as the original by a long way. Still, Peter Green is a national treasure!

Awesome song, but it is kind of a sweet and sour version! There's certainly some clunky playing from Peter but also some magic still there as well. The guitar 'tone' doesn't sound quite right, which Peter appears to be struggling with, although his trademark phrasing and subtlety is clearly evident. Seems to get into his stride more after that bent note at about 1:46

Wow he totally got lost...so so sad, but it's all his own doing.

A shadow of his old self. For me it's very sad to watch. He totally lost his mojo back in that Munich house in 1970.
