Yes he is the father of Brian Wilson . The beach boys fired him and he went on to create and manage the Sunrays. They got signed by capital records in 1965

On this day in 1966 {June 4th} the Sunrays performed "Andrea" and "Still" on the late Dick Clark's American Bandstand... Six months earlier on January 22nd "Andrea" it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100; eventually it peaked at #41 and spent 8 weeks in the Top 100... And one month earlier on May 7th "Still" enter the Top 100 for 2 weeks and peaked at #93... In 1963 Bill Anderson's version of "Still" was #1 {for 5 weeks} on Billboard's Country chart & reached #8 on the Hot top 100...

@nickellodeon55 This is a country pop song by bill anderson that the sunrays really didnt want to record but murry mad them do it promo 45 copies were pressed but I dont know if they ever bothered pressing store copys for this non hit that didnt get on the radio
