18th March 1983 was not only the debut tv appearance of TSC, it was also their live debut! Broadcast live from the BBC's Oxford Road Studios in Manchester for BBC2's "The Oxford Road Show"

After the broadcast there was a large crowd at the gates. As the limo containing Paul & Mick exited the car park there were scenes similar to Beatlemania as the car was mobbed, it then sped away along Oxford Road whilst being chased by dozens of fans on foot.
