Complete lies, nazi punks and skins have always been around. Although the ideas have become more clear as the years past, before it was more of the rebellion. And since punk and skin music has become worldwide, especially in the late 80's the people that didn't understand started the left-side extreme to counter the right-side's extreme views.

@jakevomit Because the kids in the 60s grew up with parents who participated in the war or had very close relations with those who did. What would be the best way to piss them off? By raising your right hand in a nazi salute of course! There wasent any idealogy behind it untill about 5 years later when BNP (a british nazi party) started recruting young skinheads by giving them booze basically. Most skinheads fought against BNP though since there were many black skinheads too.
