seen em many times...alway's at least very good... but alas.. never seen them other than the original four members.... i think the chemistry between them was something unique in sound, thho' i have listened to the strang's with baz, some great stuff, especially time to die..... dint like the girly singer before, did he get sacked?

Hugh had just completely lost it. So lacklustre in this performance which made the rest of the band look miserable. So much more fun to watch the Stranglers now. They seem a lot livelier with Baz. Looking foreword to seeing them on their 40th anniversary x

You have absolutely no idea you ignorant toad. Do some research, have a look at what they're doing still.

Because it was Hugh's last gig so they were obviously in a terrible mood? Not hard to work out is it?

Lackluster because they were obviously in a terrible mood due to it being Hugh's last gig. Him leaving wasn't spontaneous?

Don't comment on something you know nothing about you naive little toad, and form your own opinion instead of spewing the same old "they're not the same without Hugh" bollocks. Do some research before you comment next time.

They have produced many great albums since Hugh left. The comparison you have made are wrong purely because the keyboard and bass are the main sounds of the Stranglers, and both players of these instruments are still going strong. Paul Roberts left 7/8 years ago and Baz Warne, who was then guitarist, was made lead singer also. The 3 albums since have been great. The Stranglers are brilliant live still, I have seen them multiple times in recent years so I my comment is valid, unlike yours.
