all of the people saying this version is better than the Kinks original are fucking insane. This isnt BAD or anything, but it is fairly weak and lacks passion. The original is wild and intense.

Ok, yeah might be right. I always thought Page did a lot of sessions for the Kinks et al in that era. Still Wikipedia isnt gospel. What I DO find strange, I KNOW Squeeze (UK) did a great cover of this song also in about 82, but I can find NO YT or any internet reference to the song or the video they made for it. Saw it on MTV back in the 90s and loved it!

No he didn't! It was long assumed that Page played the solo, but it is now clear that Page only might have played in the b-side of All day and all of the night (check out the English wikipedia page of the song)
