Because that's what being Canadian is all about man! We don't give up.Americans just have it easier,more opportunities.If you really want it in the states you can get it 9 times out of 10.Being Canadian & in a metal band is dam hard.You have your Nickleback,Theory of a Deadman,Rush but their mainstream,when it comes to METAL,ANVIL never got that opportunity because their Canadian i think.How many Metal bands can you think of make it big from Canada?

These guys are as real as they come. Sometimes the star just don't line up but you know, we're all eternal beings, they'll get another shot at it and next time the stars will align. I remember when I was in Lip Service in L.A. back in the '80s and all the bands wanted to 'be the next Beatles'. Then The Beatles release '27' 30 years after the fact and lo and behold the next Beatles were, THE BEATLES! It's not the bank account that matters, it's the love of our friends that is all you leave with.

For some reason many Canadian metal bands from that time period often had a comedic edge to them; take Razor for instance, they are hilarious. At any rate these guys were one of the first to do it and pretty much everyone had their first 3 albums...

1 out of 1000 is a fucking shitload of people when you put it into retrospect. You're just a typical shredhead who can't see past technical ability and accept that bands like anvil, admittedly not a band I really like that much, still have an amazing story to tell. You can plug Jarzombek's bands all you want but it's just fanboy dreaming - The only setback in Jarzombek's career was his hand operation, big fucking deal, he's still a god in the guitar world, he doesn't need a documentary.

LTD don't deserve a documentary, they haven't been around for long enough and they're popular because they have petrucci so all the shredheads wet their pants over them. Any of Jarzombek's projects are actually pretty well known because he's like a godfather of metal virtuoso guitar and tech death metal, he has plenty of exposure trust me, and athiest were well known enough too, but they only had 2 albums anyway, anvil have had 11 or thereabouts, that's a big difference, plus anvil still exist.

atheist and lte are more popular than the others. I have never heard of blotted science and spastic ink, but I listened to the entire atheist catalogue in grade 6 (im in grade 8 now) and I know a few lte songs
