perhaps it grows on you, it most ppl about 10 years to get into The Second Coming, now I'd go so far as to say I prefer it to the first album, I was just reading the wikipedia article and I wanted to now how this tune sounds, so it's the first time I have heard it.

Not so much as they wanted to be a generic punk-band in the late 70s. It was Hannett who tried to make them timeless with his production. If you read up on anything Hannett or JD then even Peter Hook etc. state this. They did write good songs but live they aren't the best sounding group.
