This is one of my absolute favorite Statler Brothers' song. I don't know why I like it so much, but next to You've Been Like a Mother to Me and Nothing as Original as You, I just love this song. It makes me think of my grandma.

I think all five of them made the groups, no one will take Lew place. but he died and that made Jimmy a favorite and a true fans also himself of the Statler. the country was ready for groups so to say there never been a Statler without Lew would mean Don And Harold and Phil mean nothing, and Lew would tell you if he was alive he woould been nothing without his *brothers*

I remember this song but don't know from when or where. I've quite a few tapes and records of the Statler Bro's. I often wonder what they are doing now. Haven't been able to get to a shopping place to even check them out. Most of their songs either made you smile or cry. I've never been tired of hearing their music..it's great.
