Let a Blue eyed soul man from Chicago try to tighten you up on the year this jam came out. I believe 1968 as I was still on military active duty. My Nam tour was 1966. But I'm 67 years old so have mercy if I'm off a little. I had the 45 but I can't remember the B side. I Met Pops Staple at O'Hare Airport in 1970 or 71. He was just walking through the concourse. There was no security at that time. We shook hands and I could tell he was a bit surprised a white guy knew who he was. But seriously, you still haven't been paid and that's a damn shame on America!!!

@songbuff61 I agree 100% it surpasses all by content alone. I've always loved the Staple Sisters and sad to say this is the first time I've ever heard of it. Why don't you enter it in Wikipedia? You know you can do it. I've done it when I've seen an error and fixed it. it would be a beautiful contribution - historically.
