Deftones are an American alternative metal band from Sacramento, California, founded in 1988. The band consists of Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Frank Delgado, Abe Cunningham and Sergio Vega.
Deftones have released seven albums to date, with three platinum (Adrenaline, Around the Fur, White Pony) and one gold certification (Deftones).

March 31st 2014, I met Chino in San Francisco after a †††Crosses show. It was raining out and he was wearing a beanie just like the one in this video. I asked if he would sing while I play a song on guitar! He said "Of course.. let me hear what u got!" Rainy night in the city, chillin' outside making music with Chino Moreno.. Humble, honest, and unpretentious. He doesn't give himself a credit, instead he lets "us" to judge. He is just doing what he feels like doing or ,perhaps, what he is destined to be doing. "We" are just subjective observers who become attracted by the band's creativity with ever growing intensity. Chino Moreno is an essential part of the ultimate "whole".
