"Since I Fell for You" was composed by Buddy Johnson in 1945 and was first popularized by his sister, Ella Johnson with Buddy Johnson and His Orchestra. The biggest hit version was recorded by Lenny Welch in 1963.

Strange song in the context of the Sonics, but I just love it. Normally, I'm not crazy about these love ballads, but the emotion hits me so hard on this one. The raw sound helps too. Beautiful.
