This album to me and the 2nd album as well are Coheed quality as far as 1st and 2nd albums...."emo" progressive albums that shit out great riffs and choruses with little tangents here and there that make you have to classify it as progressive. Coheed is one of my favorite bands ever...but these first 2 albums from The Sleeping...I might like more...also Dougs new band...Night Verses...listen to that shit if you haven't...it's The Sleeping meets Deftones and Tool...fantastic shit.

I thought I'd made a mistake when I first saw your reply, then researched some confirmation of my earlier statement, and look what I found: Laying is a transitive thing - you do it to something. Lying is intransitive - you just do it. e.g. " I was lying on the couch when I realised that my wife was laying lunch on the small table next to me." She is supposed to be LYING next to him, not laying. I repeat my earlier statement that she isn't a chicken laying eggs next to him.
