Just saw these guys in Vancouver. I had high expectations but honestly - the sound and style was pretty hackneyed and the performance dull. Made me sad for kids these days - I feel like they really need their own voice instead of just cutting and pasting cues from the past. They also had the bad luck of trying to "headline" after Bison BC's set. My Christ, is there any better, more intense, live band on the planet than them? They brought the goddamn house down. Half the people in the crowd left after that and the crowd melted away as The Shrine played on. After Bison, they had the stage presence of anemic children in dad's hand-me-down clothing!
