This is a really haunting version because it has al the feel and sound of the En-Tact era and yet they decided to move on from that , its almost like a final farewell to that era as they went on to a more accessible sound. Truly amazing band.

I was a huge fan of The Shamen,bought just about everything they put out,still have all their releases. Its really fascinating to hear demo's like this though,well,it's the only demo of their's i've actually heard and it's especially cool to hear plavka and lex on this version,I love hearing the progression of an idea for a tune,how it was put together and then hearing the final result.Thank you for posting this,I don't even know how I managed to not spot it on youtube.

I think Plavka's vocals actually suit LSI just that bit better than Jhelissa's, though of course Jhelissa's vocals are very good too. :)

@womanlovesmusic It's Plavka singing on this early demo version. When Shamen (Colin and Mr C) toured the USA (I think in the early 90's, 1992 I think... I may be wrong), they had a singer and performer called Cheryl with them. Cheryl performed the female vocal parts during that tour. But on the 1992 commercially released version (i.e. the one that was released as a single for the charts), Jhelisa Anderson performed the female vocals; they're probably referring to that version
