This is great; they all still have it. It would have been a lot better if that lead guitar wasn't so overpowering though.

My heart reaches out to Judith because she had originally sung this song for 5 years fully understanding its meaning yet yearning to experience it first hand in her own life. She finally did for an all too short period before death took away her beloved husband and she was once again presented with the situation of having to sing about the sublime mutual experiences she no longer was a part of in her own life.God has tested this woman and she has demonstated her unreserved capacity to continue giving despite her inner pain of life without a marriage partner.

So nice to hear them sound like they did when I was a little bugger with his ear against the transistor. Beautiful thanks!

On this day in 1965 {June 13th} the Seekers performed "A World of Our Own" on the CBS-TV program 'The Ed Sullivan Show'... About two weeks earlier on May 29th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #19 and spent 10 weeks on the Top 100... It reached #2 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart... Sonny James covered it; and on March 16th, 1968 his version peaked at #1 {for 3 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart...
