Blackpool, England's The Rocking Vickers 1966 single of Pete Townsend / The Who's It's Alright featuring Lemmy (later of Motörhead) on lead guitar, Harry Feeney on vocals, Ken Hardacre and Nick Gribbon on guitar, Pete Moorhouse on bass and Cyril "Ciggy" Shaw on drums. The video includes some rare photographs of the young Lemmy and Nick Gribbon as he is now, still performing as Nick Unlimited.

This wild and raucous band played what has come to be known as freakbeat and were originally called Reverend Black and the Rocking Vickers . Their name is often erroneously spellt Rocking Vicars.

Glad that many people are discovering Lemmy's early work. Albeit under very sad circumstances. RIP

The second Vicker from the left is called Ian Holbrook, Lemmy's predecessor as RV's guitarist. Lemmy was a lot bigger.
