Bands like this were killed by videos where it mattered what you looked like. Unfortunately the resemblance to Jim Morrison killed what could have been an amazing export to the world because they just weren't taken seriously. I blame the producer...Jeff is one of those rare artists that can do it all without any help, but his drummer is awesome. Give this band a chance if you haven't. New music to a listener, regardless of when it actually came out, is still new and can be just as powerful as it was back in the 90's.

Wow! A lot of vitriol in some of the previous posts. They sound like bitter barbs from back in the day which I can understand. I hope that some of you that dismiss this song as you did back then don't necessarily do so now so much. Compared to the utter bland, commercial bullshit nonsense that they put out now, this is comparatively Moses parting the Red Seas for only a footpath's worth. The rest of today's Egyptian have, continued to and will drown for years!! I still like this song and compared to the mediocrity of today, it's light years beyond!!

Don't know the lead singer's name but man, the look, sound & poetry is Jimmy Morrison reincarnated--but her probably gets that comments alot! :) Canadian classic.
