This legendary Residents double version of the Fab Four & The Stone is something like a vision of Paul`s finger been mutilated out of his body while Lennon head is decapitated and the left arm of George torn away and finally torso`s Ringo is dissected. And when "Sympathy for" begins, all these pieces are reasembled in a new Frankenstein body giving a fantastic Grand Finale!!!.

Say whatever you want about Butthole Surfers, Throbbing Gristle, Suicide, Gwar and GG Allin, but these m'fers take the cake. Completely nuts and I love it. Laurie Anderson, Pink Floyd circa Ummagumma and Captain Beefheart are the only worthy contenders.

Third Reich n Roll is probably one of the finest works of art that the 20th century had to offer. An acid sharp take down that culminates in this piece, infinitely better than the original.

because..the residents are excellent at selecting riffs!...(, a riff is a repeated chord progression, pattern, or melody, often played by rhythmic instruments. The riff is the base of the musical composition. They are most common in rock music, funk, and jazz....they are masters at spotting these...the beatles were also masters...
