I agree with Lauri (if you didn't know it's the guy singing) that music shouldn't be compared, especially if the ways that the music is being performed in are completely different. Lauri has mentioned in a couple of interwies that he doesn't aprove of crtisising music or comparing it to other music. I don't agree with this because The Rasmus are my favourite band, but because i had never thought about it this way, and realized that it's actually very true. So i don't think that The Rasmus' version should get compared to Bjork's original version. And actually, even though i hate to admit this, but this version can't be better than Bjork's, because it can't be better than the original. But i do preffer The Rasmus' version of this song, because i really like the rock elements this version of the song includes. And i think people should stop hating on the guys for covering this song, because i think Lauri's voice sounds beautiful when singing this, and the guys are fans of Bjork so why not do a cover of her song. I love The Rasmus, they are my favourite band, and i wish more people would get to listen to their music and understand just about how amazing it is.

look at the family tree version by bjork(with the brosky quartet) it really brings out the genius behind the composition. and her voice is raw/pure/powerful so it matches perfectly with the cellos and violins. All the brosky quartet versions are incredible!

To be honest I don't think this version is even partly as good as the original. I accept, that The Rasmus covered this song. It shows that it is a good song. But nobody can sing it as good as Björk.

I'm not a fan of the original, but i think that the words have some beautiful meaning. Bjork is a talented artist, but just not my personal cup of tea.

Wow I didn't know they did a Bjork cover, that's an insanely brave thing to do, especially for Lauri. I've knew he wasn't a bad singer, but I never thought he would be all that good. Wow and wow :o
