the photo shows the second wall of speakers. they were timed to carry the sound about a second or two after from the stage speakers (to attempt to diminish the echo). it felt like over a hundred degrees and no shade. a non stop steady stream of people taken to the medic tent - many on stretchers. bowie closed the show late that night- was 10 times better than anything.

That ole guitar is terribly out of tune, but hey I suppose they'd done a few laps beforehand. Love this song.

A truly outstanding recording, I would have loved to have been there on the day. The guitar sounds great to me, I always wondered how both Jimmy and Robbie would have played this track together as Robbie was invited to join the group sometime before Jimmy's death in 1982. 977 has all of this show.
