I just got listen to that "amazing version" and I don't like it. Very amateurish, no ball's and poor audio quality, sorry! No one can equal this Pirates version: strong voice, straight bass and unique guitar and drum playing. Pure energy, just my opinium.

Mick was my guitar teacher for two years, he told me I was one of the most talented "natural guitarists" he'd ever taught. A true gentleman, humble and had a handshake for everyone. I miss him greatly.

@admanphoto On Wilco's web site interview, he says he tried to copy Mick, and thought he had. Then once Wilco had perfected his style, he realized he hadn't. By then Wilco had his own unique style.

I think I may have just fractured my ankle tapping my foot along to this. Chuffing excellent. Does anyone know if this show is available on DVD anywhere?

Green used to play lead and rythm at the same time, shit knows how but the mman was awesome. I saw them at Sheffield and Torquat in '79. Brilliant!!!

Whilst its true that Wilko Copt Greenys rhythm/lead guitar technique....Down by The Jetty The Feelgoods debut sees a young man who had an extremely well defined vision of his own brand of English RocknRoll in terms of song writing and the band's overall sound......and then there was the small matter of the band's stage show.
