The Paper Dolls were a late Sixties British female group and all had nicknames ( predating the Spice Girls by 30 years ! ) `Tyger` , `Spyder` & `Copper` .

They released their only album `Paper Dolls House `in 1968. They reunited for a one-off concert in 2008 to celebrate 40 years since this hit single. They had not previously performed together for 30 years.

Unless my memory is failing me ....I believe they were called The Dolly Set before changing their name ...and toured the Northern clubs before finding success with this single .if anyone knows them personally ...ask . If I'm wrong I apologise to them all . If I'm right ... get in touch to let me know how they're all doing ...I haven't seen them since the early to mid 60's . Oh , by the way , they were great as the Dolly Set , too .
