You guys are missing the point! Yes, Ryan and Marissa were one of the focuses of the show and it sucks like hell when Marissa dies but life still goes on. Ryan had to grow up and forgive and forget, she will never be forgotten but it's about how Ryan goes back and asks the kid who needs help for help, just like sandy did at the beginning, without that, there would be no show or no Ryan and Marissa. It's about giving and receiving in return. Sandy is the most vital piece in this amazing story, I give all the credit for him being the man he was and always caring for those in need. That's life.
