I absolutely love this version. The Boys are electrifying and their energy oozes. At 2:30 through the track, Joe gives the thumbs up and then they go into a fantastic 'double clapping' spell. @GeorgeJonesFan100 I saw Jerry Reed perform this song back in the late 80s. I always assumed it was some sort of southern gospel standard. I remember Jerry grinning from ear to ear and tears rolling down his cheeks at the same time. Great song.

When I was 14, I saw the Oak Ridge Boys. My father was a friend of Duane Allen and introduced me to him. I met him, he hugged me and I never washed that shirt! HA!!! That was 34 years ago!

I love them! The Oak Ridge Boys are one of the best groups ever, and wow, can they sing!! This song is a great example!!! It makes you want to sing along, tap your toes, and clap during it. Thanks for posting these and this one. I always loved this one, but haven't gotten the DVD yet and haven't pulled out my VHS for along time. I love the extra key change on this arrangement and the church band is great.
