I've seen a fair few people calling this prog deathcore. Prog metalcore is much more fitting haha.This has so much more in common with stuff with Elitist then say, The Contortionist

Although I'm not exactly sure what kind of genre this would be considered, it definitely would not be deathcore... Of the two genres you mentioned it would be more metalcore. But even that isn't exactly what this is. When I think metalcore i think August Burns Red. It's like a mix of Djent and some form of Progressive Metalcore.. Sort of reminds me of Elitist a little bit and the song Tidal by Elegist. But honestly the genre of this band could be debated for hours probably lol
