Christ this is terrible.almost as bad as all the "it's so deep when JD sings it!" comments. Lizzy's songs were almost always about real stuff (downtrodden people, bittersweet memories, etc), but Phil could actually sing and the musicianship was top-notch. stop pretending like JD added anything to the song.
