Justin sings this Ballad so wonderful.

Very underrated. With some impressions from the Soccer WorldCup 2006 in Germany

Justin has an absolute incredibly beautiful voice. It is filled with such passion, depth, love and emotion sometime his voice almost makes me want to cry, or laugh or sing or shout with joy! He is now 68 years old and still his voice and guitar playing are beyond phenomenal. In person is even more wonderful! The Moodies are wonderful and together bring together an epic sound and wonder of music seen by very few!

Meant to post this during the World Cup just concluded. This song is from the Broadway play "Jekyll and Hyde" and was covered by the Moody Blues for the compilation album "Soccer Rocks the World" for the 1994 World Cup. Seems appropriate given that Germany won it all this year.

This song was featured in the OST of the WC USA 94.

Please explain, because neither has had a good solo effort. Without Pinder, Edge, and Thomas they are just very average on their own. The five together are greatness and unmatched.

Justin is credited with many songs that he only co-wrote. However, he is extremely great song writer. This is the best edition of this song.

Doesn't fit soccer? Don't let a true soccer fan hear you say that. Lol Besides, all the Moody Blues are dedicated soccer fans and have been known to plan their touring around World Cup schedules.

At least they've chosen the best version, also I think Justin enjoys watching football, doesn't he support Swindon?

@maryrose456 It was on a special CD for the soccer Worldcup in 1994. I think only released in Germany or Europe. Very rare today.

This song (very rare) was originally released on the "War of the Worlds" soundtrack. It ended up here on the match between Germany and Sweden. I was just happy to find it again. thanks, red baron.

I all honesty I do not feel that a soccer video,,,,,,,(may I say in all it's glory) does not gel or harmonise with such a beautiful ballad. Forgive me if you feel I am wrong. Can't quite put my finger on it...... This is my moment can correspond to football achievements through the eyes of players and fans.... I just do not feel the songs message, as performed by Justin, in great voice may I add..sang with enormous feeling,.relates to his own personal lyrical interpretation.
