The Moody Blues started their chart success in 1965 with "Go Now", followed by several others, with this song getting airplay in the fall of 1966. Tho never charting on Billboard, it did made #33 on WMCA in New York, and did decently well in Cleveland, hitting #6 on WKYC. Of course, around this same time, the Moody Blues were making major personnel changes, with Justin Hayward and John Lodge joining the group.

I remember when this song came out, and thought it was a good tune. Unfortunately for the time it was released there was so much new music (which was a good thing) that unless a new release (even from an established hit maker) made a big impact at the onset, well then it was given very little chance of succeeding. The flip side, "Boulevard de la Madeleine", was actually intended to be the A-side and got a lot of airplay in the UK. I didn't know this side actually got US airplay. Thanks for the upload!10 years ago
