Check out the '64 Alhambra High School yearbook - the Mixtures played the Spring Backwards Dance on March 14 of that year. There's a great photo of the guy with the white guitar.

This place, the Rainbow Gardens, was a popular greaser club in Pomona, Cal, in the early 60's. We used to drive our parents 59 Galaxy 500 by there and peel some rubber but never had the guts to even get out...muy peligro, hombre
