Sadly the sister on the right (Dorothy) passed away last summer (2012).

I wonder if people realize not only how high Mr. James is playing that last note but how "open" he is playing it. That's the difference. This is why he is easily one of the greatest trumpeters of all time. The dedication to his craft and the amount of time it took him to get himself to that level is very difficult, and I admire him for that alone. I encourage all musicians "out there" to work this hard. Even if no one else in this world hears you, your work at your craft is a gift to the angels.
