Unique, stirring, brooding and just so talented. Great memories of a gig at The Old Phillip Island Post Office dance around 1967.

Met them in Adelaide while they were doing a gig . Ended up in the saloon bar of the Buckingham Arms. Got soooo plastered. I think they out drank me and I was known for my beer consumption. Another wasted memory. They sang some great songs though. "Baby I love you so" has always stuck in my head.

Only saw the Loved Ones once when I was 14 (tagged along with my older brother) when they did gig at the old Stadium at Rushcutters Bay Sydney along with Eric Burdon & the Animals. My first live music gig............fuck, what a good start to life I had !

I know I'm picky but how come the stylus isn't moving across the record ?? :-) This band is top of my "F*ck I Wish I'd Seen Them Live" list. Thanks for posting.

The best Aussie rock band ever. Not unlike Jethro Tull in feeling. I freaked when I was about 20.
