Got this album at age 12 in 1963. What a great album.The song "Time of Man" really shook me up. They were talking about life in the post nuclear war apocalyptic world. Love this album it really had a big effect on me.

I grew up listening to this album. I love it! Recently found a copy of it at a local second-hand mall. The vinyl is pretty roughed up but the album cover is in pretty good condition. I wish I could find this on CD so's I could load it onto my computer (and, thereby, my Walkman). This. The Brothers Four's "Cross Country", The Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul & Mary. (Yes...it's true. I did NOT grow up on Rock-n-Roll {learned about that stuff later}) Still love the sound of REAL music and musicians!

I bought all their albums when they 1st came out...I was in high school. Some of my favorite songs are "Western wind", "Gunslinger", "Civil War Medley", "Whistling Gypsy" and "The Time of Man". I wish there were more videos of their time in the 60's
