I think you got him on a bad night. I've saw Carl in Goiás, Brazil, last December and he was awesome, invited everyone there (small town, small venue) to go to the bar where he would be afterwards. He made a point of talking to me, cause he knew I've traveled 14 hours to be there, and spend the night playing and talking to fans. And this year, when he left the venue of his concert in São Paulo, he sat on the sidewalk and played a lot of songs for us.

I love The Libertines. I've met both Pete and Carl over the years. Pete has been totally sound both times I met him. Really down to earth and has got lots of time for his fans. Carl on the other hand came across as being really arrogant but maybe I got him on a bad night.
