The other side of this single is "When the White Lilacs Bloom Again".

I read that Lawrence Welk was home, sick in bed, when his son (Larry Welk) brought the sisters in to sing for him. Larry was one of their school classmates. Lawrence Welk was so impressed he picked up the phone and booked them for that week's show.

The mind boggles. A girly song though!

@azw596 Me too, I grew up with the Lawrence Welk show reruns on PBS in the late '80's and early '90's thanks to my grandparents. The show is still being rerun today as well, which is great! I'm a huge fan of harmony. I'm really glad you like the Four Quarters. I had never showcased a channel on my profile page before, but it's seldom when I hear harmonies like theirs and I felt inspired to try and give them some publicity! They subscribed to this channel too, which I think is an honour!

@azw596 I spent quite awhile debating which photo to use, and decided to go with this lesser seen one. Glad you like it! I like this version even better than the P&P version too.
