I'm not saying Miles is a bad musician, not at all, I think he's an excellent one, but in my opinion he's only becoming really inependent with this second album. The Olympia gig with his band supporting the monkeys was the sign that he can be as good as Alex.11 years ago

What do you mean by writing? Lyrics or instruments? I'm talking about lyrics here, so stop calling me a retard. And before you say anything else, from 12 songs in his first album, at least 6 were written with Alex, and 2 other with other 2 guys, so he only wrote like 4 tracks alone.11 years ago

Alex wrote most the songs on Miles' album? What a retard you really are. And yes, his sound in the rascals is a great example. Even back then he used lot's of pedals/incorporated the bigsby's on his guitars into his songs. That in itself is something the monkey's NEVER used to do. And that's the end of that.11 years ago

I don't get how you can know about Miles' way of writing, when he's never written anything alone (besides his old bands' stuff). I mean, Alex wrote almost every song in Colour of the Trap, and they both wrote TLSP (at least that's what's in the cd), so there is no way you could know about his style (only based on the rascals or something like that).11 years ago

Miles has a very unique style to his playing/writing which Alex has taken on board too. But this song to me was clearly written by Miles. In regards to who plays the hardest part...that has nothing to do with it. Maybe Alex prefers playing rythm, it doesn't mean he wrote the song.11 years ago
