Somebody should put together a website on these guys telling about how they started and what some of them have since done since the group quit performing together. The website should have pictures of what they looked like as they got older. I know most of them are now no longer here on earth. I found them to be underated and there isn't really enough on this particular group. They could ask family members about the performers.

I have a worn out VHS copy of the program featured in this clip broadcast from the Chicago Playboy Club. The KS4 conclude their section of the show with the above version of Lazy River, featuring a number of impressions, with the last being of Sammy Davis Jr. After they finish, they are abut to reprise when the REAL SDJ comes in and joins them for a final chorus, before cutting to his solo spot. Larry Foster and SDJ also trade a couple of impressions at the end of the program.

wouldn't be nice if they had acts like this today? You can sing the same song but do impersonations of Bob Dylan or Homer Simpson

I wish there were more acts like this in showbiz today. I wish there were some more recordings online of Both Kirby and Larry Foster. From their recordings, and this video (the only video I've seen of the Stone Four) they seem to work comically and vocally very well together! hahah I miss this genre so much, and I've never even lived it haha

I played with Kirby in the early 70's, and he was a gentleman and very easy to work with. He had a great sense of humor and I use stuff I learned from him all the time. Kenny Rogers was his bass player in the sixties, and Kenny Rogers and the First Edition was Kirby's backup band. When Kenny got his record deal, Kirby said, " go ahead and take the band, I can get other guys to play." He was a real class act, and his daughter Grady was a real sweetie too. I miss him.
