I listened to this album endlessly when I was in therapy...VERY therapeutic but sad, too. It's such a Seattle album for me.

I used to fall asleep to this album when I was in the military tech school. Kept me centered.

This whole album reminds me of my freshman year of college. My little acoustic band covered "curious".... Loved IM almost as much as the sundays.

This reminds me of when I was young, living in Denver. They had a great radio station that would play this all the time. Always a great feeling to hear it.

A very good friend of mine from when I was younger used to play Umbrella by TIM and the melodies lterally floored me!! He tragically passed away a few months ago and these melodies remind me of him so very much. I hope he's in the room when I play "Now in this hush" because it reassures me he in heaven, because I never got the chance to say goodbye..

@doxielov in college in Rochester,NY in the early 90's, this album did, and still does move me ...this album transports me back to listening to this drinking brews on the banks of Lake Ontario...

I have always loved this song -- first heard waaaay back when I was a teenager. Now I'm almost 40, and it speaks to me now more than ever. Thanks for posting.

This song is the my favorite track and the reason why I bought the album. Bought it my last semester in college and the song was very fitting.

Normally I'm more of a synths person and drumcomputer cheesy popmusic. But this song and more of their stuff is great. They play and sing with so much emotion. I really love it.

This is one of those songs that I didn't notice much at first, but it grew on me and is now one that moves me deeply. They (Karen and Don Peris, in particular) don't tour much since they started a family, but I sure hope they do at least a limited tour when their next album comes out. I have family back east, and I would happily plan a visit to coincide with tour dates in their neck of the woods.

If Plato's philosophical concept of the "Form" of Beauty has musical embodiments in this world, this band is surely one of the most accurate of them. Thank you, God, for the Innocence Mission.

Was lucky enough to see these guys in Atlanta around '91 when this album came out. These are such heartfelt, soul-bearing lyrics.
