Our group, The Finished Product, would play with these guys at "The Shack" in 1968 in Connecticut on several occasions.

Robert J Baranda submitted some photos and video links to a '60s/'70s group called The Illusion that used to be the house band at #ActionHouse in Island Park, New York. This is great music that I never heard before!

I meant album version. The long versions are always the best.

Chuck lived upstairs of my grandma's house in franklin square/elmont. I have all 3 lps. I also have all 3 cd's. I grew up listening to them. I was born in 1976. The illusion is the best band of the late 60s

I currently have both albums and have posted them on auction in my store. I came here to listen to them while I worked and Damn, these guys really take me back to my days growing up in NY. I love collecting and saving the music for personal listening pleasure, then I pass the vinyl on. Some of the best rockers out there....

I Know One of Them Passed away I worked in a deli with Mike's cousin. I tried to convince him to ask his cousin to put the band back together but he said he didnt want to get involved in his cousins bands politics LOL. too bad I wonder hwta they would have done if the got back together I bet if they made an album it would blow away most of the younger bands A great band can stand the test of time

Anyone remember the name of the club the Illusion use to feature on Queens Blvd.? - A classy club a couple blocks west of Coventry (towards Queens PLaza). Funny how that club would have a line around the block to see Illusion and Coventry 2 blocks away would be empty while KISS was making history . Illusion did HAVE a very "Brit" look to them . I recall the drumer hair being soaked in sweat, towel it and every hair in place. VERY Jeff Beck! I do recall them sounded a LOT better than this take
