The Hype Theory Take Us Back "Where We Started"

The Hype Theory are a five piece pop-punk band from Essex, UK. After exploding onto the UK scene in 2011 with a little help from Red Bull, The Hype Theory won over new fans and industry support following huge performances at UK festivals including Download, T in the Park, Sonisphere and the UK Metal Hammer Awards. A vigorous touring schedule cemented their position as the UK's best female fronted pop-punk band, leading to comparisons to names such as Paramore and We Are The In Crowd.

The bands debut album "Glory Days" was released in Autumn 2011 and received excellent reviews from the likes of Kerrang, Rock Sound, Front Magazine and many others, delivering two singles, "We Will Be Singing" and "Kid at Heart." The third and final single from the album will be released early 2012 before the band look set to promote the release of the album in Japan and Europe.

The video for "Where We Started" is an acoustic version of the album track preformed exclusively for BlankTV. Singer Katy comments: "It is my favorite track on the album. The song is about how relationships always change after a few years, and how you wish you could go back to how it was when you first started."
