Excellent version of enduring classic that saw two distinct incarnations - this early monosynth style from the Fast Records mono single w/Circus Of Death, and the later 'Horns of Buddha' production for the 1980 'Holiday 80' EP.

i'm sure Midge Ure heard this Peel session. Peel sessions were very popular and he was probably into new sounds, looking for cool sounds etc etc and yes too much into fashion too... ha! but yeah! why not. "fade to grey" is a great track for a hit!!! he hired the best musicians (magazine, banshees...) and asked them to sound like this. not a prob for me. the two songs are great!!!! one is just more obsucre. love both.11 years ago
