Totally agree, Strange House is their best album. However, as soon as Rhys and Tom swapped instruments, their sound completely changed. Their new stuff, sonically, is very interesting. They have become the new Pink Floyd. My favorite Horrors sound is garage/goth/punk, though.

yeah, i like that too. btw i was totally impressed with the singer -- really great voice and stage presence. guitar player also highly original, great guitar sound . . . hope these boys have a long fruitful career.

I enjoyed the fact that they had a sort of theme going on, like a gimmick, live and in person.

and, Faris was pretty great. He's just a cool and unique-looking dude, has a strong baratone and good delivery. really enjoyed the singing tonight. and i was really hoping to hear their great "Whole New Way" song--a pretty big single for them-- but nope, didn't play it.

saw them tonight. i like the new recordings, "Skying" I mean. But they were a better live band back in 2007 IMHO, much better. Plus the organ player is now the bass player, and he's absolutely the swishiest dude ever--he literally PRANCED out onto the stage. like, too much. good bassist, though.
