Dont get me wrong omo. lol veil of maya is my favorite metal band hands down. I love suffocation, but im not really a fan of god forbid. And i hate sevendust. Just not my cup of tea.

Veil of Maya has a black guitarist. Even though they are not an african band, it's still awesome. lol

I believe its their musical background (jazz and blues) that makes them really good when they are in metal. Some of the craziest time signatures are in these genres and are closely related to metal. Its just faster and tends to use different chord progressions and keys

lol they're still located in africa.. I'm a huge fan of metal and all and my favorite genre is groove metal, but still who the hell would listen to this band doing live performances? it'd be funny tho.
